Dear People of Petrichor,  

I hope this message finds you well. As we approach the end of the year, I want to share some exciting news about changes happening in our practice that will enhance your experience.  

Starting **December 20, 2024**, we will transition to new administrative support. This change is part of our ongoing effort to streamline communication and ensure that scheduling, billing, and other logistical matters are handled as efficiently and smoothly as possible.  

To that end, I’d like to introduce Erin Collins, our new administrator. You’ll likely recognize her as our biller. You may have spoken with her before. She and her team will be taking over our full administration. We’re excited to have her out of the “back” and into our “front office!” 

Our new administrative system and team are here to make sure your needs are met with care and attention. You can continue to reach out through the same contact methods (call or text our office phone at 470.736.9595, email our admin team at intake@petrichorcounseling.com, message via the portal or email your specific therapist), and we’ll provide clear instructions if anything changes.  

Please rest assured that this transition is designed to support you better and ensure that our time together remains focused on your goals and well-being. We have seen many changes at Petrichor Counseling, LLC over the years. This is likely the most impactful, and emotionally difficult for me personally. I want to take a moment to honor the cherished work of my dear teammate and friend, Anastasia Chrysostom. With a heart full of gratitude, I want to  recognize her remarkable journey and growth from her start as an intern, nine years ago, to her nurturing presence as our practice manager. She is poised to broaden her horizons, and to enrich the world as her career progresses, as she has enriched ours for so many years. Her steadfast commitment and her gentle guidance have been a vital support. I speak for all of us, as well as those who were part of Petrichor before and have themselves moved on to bigger and better… in wishing her every wondrous and beautiful blessing on this exciting journey ahead. It is impossible for me to express adequately how grateful I am for her time with us, and how eager I am to see the wonderful contributions she will undoubtedly make to our profession and the world as she makes her way forward.
